PIN had its presence at a 3-day conference focusing on Water Loss in Basque city of San Sebastian taking place between April 14-17,2024. Organized by IWA Water Loss Specialist Group (WLSG) it focused on connection between water leakage, non revenue water, efficiency and its impact on our climate. Leakage Emissions Initiative was established to "quantify the impact of unmanaged leakages...and linking the leakages with carbon emissions". PIN presented a new publication, a study called "Greenhouse gas emissions provide a key indicator for optimizing water delivery: a case study from southern Ethiopia"
